The shop has been located in the Centreway Arcarde for over 40 years, so it has become a tradition of shopping within the Belmont area. By good timing we discovered the business was for sale, purchased September 2007. It was meant to happen, the shop had been in good hands for the past 22 years – with families growing up with Patsy’s Gift Shop, and we were looking for a place to spread our wings.

We are a husband and wife team Jenni & Greg.

Jenni has spent many years in the industry starting from school leaving age – with a range of interests, always with a passion and flair for cards, gifts & homewares. Her many jobs included Card Shop partnership in Melbourne CBD, Gift Buying for 10 Melbourne suburban Gift Shops and as a Sales Rep. These areas all gave her great opportunity to further learn and create. The culmination being her very own venture with Greg.

Greg has also spent a similar time in the industry but on the wholesale side, as an agent for Giftware companies. He continues to do this while helping with the admin side of the business and also in the shop.

With these backgrounds and enthusiasm for “Jen’s Place”, we are able to offer you the best of the best. We do this with pride and passion and hope you feel the same when you come to visit us.

Since we have bought the shop we have continued and built on the great customer base that was nurtured previously. This has lead us to feeling part of the Belmont Shopping community forging friendships with both customers and neighbouring retailers.

We travel to the trade fairs both in Sydney and Melbourne looking for new and exciting products. Globally trends change, we all travel, Geelong shoppers can look forward to shopping in their own city and being satisfied with friendly customer service and always something new and interesting to tantalize your shopping taste buds.
